The nearest town is Gavray, which is 3
kilometres away. Gavray has 2 bakers, a
supermarket, a chemist, a butcher, a
charcuterie, 2 restaurants, several bars and
a number of other interesting shops.
The house is situated between the historic
towns of Avranches, Granville, Coutances
and Villedieu-les-Poeles and within 40
minutes of Le Mont St. Michel and
Bayeux. Both Brittany and the Normandie
landing beaches are an easy “day trip” from
the house, as are the beautiful sandy western coastal beaches where you can
walk for miles.
